NIFES LAUTECH Ogbomoso…. A place of birthing life champions🔥🔥🔥
While thinking about the demise of Sis Adebiyi Oyebimpe, I stood to reminisce over the blessings I got from being a part of NIFES LAUTECH ( 1997 to 2002). My life journey and faith in God aren’t complete without this birthing place. I wouldn’t have been this strong and rugged if not for LAUTECH and most importantly NIFES. All that mattered to us then was making heaven and having academic excellence.
At NIFES, you are taught how to know God yourself, serve him unreservedly, be sold out for evangelism, inductive Bible Study and building variant prayer life among others. Conferences, rural evangelism, and retreats were the norms. School life was the best for us, we had time to study our books and serve God. Nothing matters more than that.
I can’t forget a brother in my subgroup (Evangelical Subgroup). You need to be righteous and upright with God because he by the power of the Holy Spirit might x-ray your life to reveal your hidden shortcomings etc. We literally were drunk with the knowledge of God and that was enough.
Many lives have touched me during the course of my study at LAUTECH. A lot of them are still my friends now, 70% of my Facebook friends are friends from LAUTECH.
So if I need to count my life blessings, NIFES LAUTECH is one and has left an indelible mark on my life’s journey.
At this point, I want to specially appreciate one of the gifts I got in NIFES LAUTECH aside my husband.
Join me in celebrating this gracious being, I have known her since my 100L on campus. She is gracious, sacrificial, caring, loving, compassionate, amazing and too generous to a fault.
She came all the way from Ibadan to Lagos, just to pay my children a visit because I was away. She took it upon herself as a mother to keep a watch on my children.
We have been friends for more than 25 years and we are still in touch till now. I do not take your visit for granted, not everyone can do it but you did, bringing gifts all the way for my children.

You are indeed a friend, you always look out for me since we met till tomorrow. Your love is endearing, I don’t know what I did to deserve you as a lifetime friend but I pray, the God of my Fathers bless you and keep you always.
