A Heartfelt Story of Kindness, support, and profound impact
My name is Tolulope Oyewusi. I am here to say a big open Thank-you to a NILAA sister who goes by the name Sis Bolanle Oladipo (Nee Fatope). Some time ago in 2014, I got a job that took me out of Lagos to Osogbo and at a point, I had a serious accommodation challenge, she spoke to her husband on my behalf and to my surprise I was asked to move in.
She and her husband took care of me, fed me (Best of meals), encouraged me even introduced me to all the people who matter to them.
As if that was not enough, she released her car for me to use, and her husband put me in his personal budget to the point that with any ShopRite visit, I got my mouth-watering share. What a Christ-like heart!!!!!!
Come to think of it, I never understood what privacy really meant until I got married. Sometimes you just want to be alone with your spouse and when a third person is around it sort of distorts things.
Now looking back, I saw the big sacrifice this great couple took having me around them and they never complained for months!
Sis Bola and Dr. Segun Oladipo, you both have been a blessing to me, motivation and inspiration.
Even till now, they are just amazing.
The question is how did I get to know her?
It was NIFES, and after school NILAA.
Thank you Sis Bolanle, Thank you Dr. Segun Oladipo (a very real and down-to-earth man), I love you both. God bless you.
