About Sis. Wemimo Owodunni
Owodunni Wemimo is a Lagos native with roots tracing back to the vibrant town of Ijebuode in Ogun State. As the third of four siblings, family has always been at the heart of her life.
Her journey in education began at NEPA Staff School for Nursery and Primary Education, where she laid the foundation for her academic pursuits. Continuing her quest for knowledge, she embarked on her secondary education at Apostolic Faith Secondary School, where she developed a strong academic grounding.
Her passion for nurturing and caring for animals led her to pursue a degree in Animal Production and Health at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. This academic choice resonated with her lifelong love for animals, nurtured since her early years.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) took her to the culturally rich Northern part of Nigeria, specifically Gusau, Zamfara State, where she had the opportunity to broaden her horizons and engage with diverse communities.
Post-NYSC, she ventured into the world of education, taking up a teaching position for preschool children. It was a heartwarming and enlightening experience that left a lasting impression.
Subsequently, she joined one of the leading financial institutions, gaining invaluable experience and insights into the corporate world serving as a Customer Service Executive, where she continues to contribute to the banking industry’s growth and success.
Her journey thus far has been a tapestry of diverse experiences, each contributing to her personal and professional growth. With a heart full of curiosity and a commitment to excellence, she looks forward to the adventures and opportunities that the future holds.
As a devout Christian, she draws strength from her faith and the values it instils in her, guiding her actions and interactions in both her personal and professional life.
