Dear Comrades,

Happy New Year, dear family!

I want to thank you for your unwavering commitment to the NILAA family. I am grateful to God for keeping us together, and I look forward to all He has in store for us this year.

First things first, God’s prophetic word to NILAA as a family for this year is “THE YEAR OF MIRACLES!”

Our anchor scripture is Luke 5:4–6, where Jesus instructed Peter to launch out into the deep and let down his nets for a catch. Peter had toiled all night and caught nothing. He had laboured, applied his skill, and done all he knew to do, yet the result was empty nets. But when Jesus stepped into the situation and gave the instruction, the story changed. They caught so many fish that their nets began to break!

This is our word for the year. God is saying that our labour will not be in vain. Our efforts will produce results, and our nets will not remain empty!

God specifically instructed us to wake up every day expecting miracles. This is not a year to treat miracles as rare occurrences or distant possibilities. Miracles will become our daily expectation and our testimony. We will see God intervene in ordinary situations, make a way where there seems to be no way, and bring results that go beyond our natural abilities.

Peter’s experience teaches us that a night of fruitless labour does not have to define the outcome of a new day. Sometimes, all it takes is an encounter with Jesus and obedience to His instruction. This year, may the Lord step into our boats, speak over our situations, and turn our empty nets into overflowing testimonies.

Therefore, wake up every morning expecting a miracle! Go about your work in faith. Be diligent in your responsibilities, take the necessary steps, and remain sensitive to God’s leading. Our expectation is not an excuse for inaction; it is the confidence that our labour, surrendered to God, can yield results beyond what we could achieve by our strength alone.

As a family, we also have exciting plans for the year. We will have our marriage webinars, chapter meetings, finance webinar, mid-year prayers, and, of course, our annual reunion from 16th to 18th October 2026. I encourage everyone to participate actively, stay connected to the family, and begin to make plans to attend the reunion. It promises to be a wonderful time of fellowship, refreshing, and renewed commitment to This Faith of Ours.

This is THE YEAR OF MIRACLES! Let us live with expectation, walk in obedience, labour in faith, and prepare our hearts to share the testimonies God will give us.

May our nets be filled, our efforts be fruitful, and our lives become living testimonies of God’s power and faithfulness.

Supernatural testimonies are ahead of us. Let the expectation of miracles become our daily norm!

God bless you all.

Your brother,

Bankole Oderemi
